Reflecting Back On A Decade

It was a BIG decade for me! I didn’t realize so many big things happened!

In 2010, I finally overcame my debilitating chronic illness. After fifteen years struggling, I finally realized the root cause and healed myself 100% naturally on my own in one month. I had felt imprisoned by my illness and once I was healthy again I wanted to be free.

In 2011, I moved cross country with no job, no family, no close friends to start a brand new life in San Francisco based on a physical dream I had. An uplifting dream I had one night that inspired me to move. Friends thought I was brave (or crazy) for packing up and starting anew. For me it wasn’t bravery, just something I needed to do. After a month of living in San Francisco I fell in love and I fell hard, but unfortunately, the relationship didn’t last as long as I hoped and I was devastated. I poured myself into my healing sessions and my writing and did standup comedy here and there. I signed with an agent too. When I lived in CT I wasn’t focused on my healing sessions but once I moved to San Francisco it became more of a focus and the more clients I saw, the more my abilities increased. I became clairvoyant (able to see visions during sessions). I even became a little clairaudient (able to hear sounds and messages during sessions and even sounds in every day life that others couldn’t hear such as a bus from far away approaching). I even started to see past lives with my clients and secrets they had never told anyone. I started to share my visions with my clients and it was confirmed. I had seen memories from their childhood, college days, even past life experiences that other psychics had mentioned to them. My confidence grew sharing messages and my visions. I started to specialize in helping clients overcome chronic illness and feel empowered and always offered an intuitive reading at the end for inspiration.

But after 3 1/2 years in San Francisco, I became bored and decided to move to Los Angeles to go back to pursuing my acting career. My acting career was stalled when I had my chronic illness and so I took this opportunity as my "last chance" to make it. Instead of trying the Big Apple, I decided to try for Hollywood.

In 2014, I moved to Hollywood. In LA, I started modeling and had my own comedy show at Second City in Hollywood, Khristee's Fresh Squeezed Comedy Show, sharing my comedy and showcasing other talented comedians. I even got signed with an agent! But even though it seemed like I had the Midas Touch in LA and doors and opportunities were opening, I received a call from my dad that my dog (that I left with my parents) was dying. So I went back home for two weeks to take care of him and say goodbye to my beloved best friend.

But as soon as I returned home my mother had two major surgeries and needed help. My elderly grandmother had moved in with my parents and she needed more care. My father was still working in NYC and someone needed to take care of my elderly dogs, my grandmother, and my mother while she was recuperating. I became a caregiver for six months and then decided to go on vacation to rejuvenate myself before heading back to Hollywood.

I had a vision of Peru so I decided to go there. It was my first time in South America. A dream come true! I decided to go for two weeks and to travel alone but a friend introduced me to her friend there and he invited me to dance in Candelaria, their big cultural festival, so I changed my trip and stayed for three weeks.

The trip magically changed my life.

After the trip I knew I wasn’t supposed to go back to LA so I stayed in Connecticut. I was “supposed” to be in Connecticut for two weeks but it turned into 3 1/2 years. I never thought I would move back to my hometown.

In Connecticut, I got more into my healing sessions and started to teach workshops. I taught Chakradance classes and then developed my own dance, meditation, and group healing workshops. In 2017, I went to Brazil for the first time. From this experience I became clairsentient and a medium. In 2018 I went to a Portugal and Spain with a friend. I had been practicing Spanish and Portuguese on Duolingo and was working with my language teachers.

In 2019, I started interviewing women for my new book about childbirth around the world and returned to Peru but this time for over two months. I practiced my Spanish, I danced until 3 am in the morning, I ate at some of the best restaurants, deepened my friendships and created new ones, interviewed mothers and experts for my new book, and visited the sacred site of Machu Picchu. I had a huge spiritual awakening. Every time I go to Peru it changes me and my path for the future.

I ended the year as a published writer! My story of how I overcame my chronic illness naturally in one month was featured in Allison Melody’s new book, Food Heals, a bestseller on Amazon!!

What a journey!! From overcoming my fifteen year chronic illness to living in California for 5 years to living in Peru for 2 months to having my story of how I healed myself featured in a new book! What an amazing decade! What a full circle! I can’t wait to see what the next decade will bring!

Have you taken the time to reflect on your last decade? No matter if the last ten years were difficult for you or if you saw tremendous growth, get ready for an even better decade ahead! May your biggest aspirations come true!

Happy New Year!!!

Much joy,

Khristee
