Grounding and Heart Loving Meditation
Sit up straight in a chair. Feet flat on the ground. Inhale and exhale. Breath deeply several times. Your palms face down on your lap. Imagine white light glowing at the base of your spine. Imagine that light going down, down, down to the center of the earth. Once your light reaches the center of the earth anchor your energy there. Feel the connection to Mother Earth. Then allow the light to travel quickly back through the earth to your spine. Allow the bright light to fill up your body. All the white light to fill up your aura. Allow the bright light to fill up your room, your house, then to reach outside your house and reach up to the trees. Feel yourself glowing. Then imagine your heart chakra glowing a vibrant green color. This color is healing to your heart. Allow the green light to soften your heart, to heal it from all its wounds and pain, heal all trauma and hurt. Take both of your hands and put them over your heart chakra in the center of your chest. Breathe deeply several times. Feel the love and healing in your heart. Then say out loud, “I love you, (and insert your name.) Say I love you three times. I love you (your name); I love you (your name); I love you (your name). Feel the love. Inhale and exhale a few times and slowly release. Slowly open your eyes.
Open Up Your Third Eye
Sit up straight in a chair. Feet flat on the ground. Inhale and exhale. Breath deeply several times. Your palms face up on your lap. Imagine your heart chakra glowing bright white light. Imagine bright white light coming from your heart chakra and filling up your whole body with bright white light. Once your body is full of bright white light take the tip of your tongue and point it straight up inside your mouth. Then take the tip of your tongue and point it up above your front teeth and make a clockwise circle inside your mouth. Do this slowly as you breath deeply. Make a few slow clockwise circles then change the direction and go counterclockwise. Make a few circles. Then take the tip of your tongue and simply point it straight up in the middle of the roof of your mouth. Hold it and breathe. Now imagine bright white light projecting out of your third eye chakra light a projector. Project your light. Keep visualizing light projecting. Then release the pose and slowly open up your eyes.
You Are Enough Meditation
Sit up straight in a chair. Feet flat on the ground. Inhale and exhale. Breath deeply several times. Your palms face down on your lap. Then add a simple mantra: So Hum. You will think the mantra inside. The mantra means “I am that I am.” Inhale thinking So, exhale thinking hum. Repeat this over and over with a slow deep breath. If you wish to go deeper or to do it a little more advanced focus on inhaling thinking So while your eyes look upward (with closed lids) and then exhale thinking Hum looking down (with closed lids). Do this for every minutes. At the end take a few deep breaths and then slowly release the pose and gently open your eyes.
Trust Your Intuition Meditation
Sit up straight in a chair. Feet flat on the ground. Inhale and exhale. Breath deeply several times. Your palms face up on your lap. Bring your hands to prayer position in the middle of your chest. Press your hands into each other and press your thumbs into your sternum. Start by chanting Om three times. Three long oms. Inhale deeply and then chant a long om (do this three times.) Om helps us to connect to our spirit and the divine. Afterwards rub your palms together quickly until it generates heat, once your hands are warm gently cup both of your closed eyes. Feel the warmth on your eyes. Imagine your third eye gently opening up. Release your hands. Imagine bright white light coming from the divine down to your crown chakra at the top of your head. Allow the light to fill up your whole body from feet to the top of your head. Once your body is full of bright white light inhale thinking Wahe, imagine the light going down to your crown chakra and exhale thinking guru as you imagine white light going out of your third eye. Repeat this over and over, Inhale thinking Wahe, exhaling thinking guru, imagining light entering your crown chakra on Wahe and exiting out, projecting like a light projector on Guru. After you do this for several minutes, breath deeply and bring your hands back to prayer position on your chest. Inhale deeply and chant one long Om. Exhale. Gently release the pose and slowly open up your eyes.
Heart Healing and Protection Meditation
This meditation is a treat! You will be lying down for this one! Find a comfortable quiet spot to lie down. This can be your bed, sofa, on the floor with cushions or a mat. Make sure you have a blanket over you to keep warm. You may wish to have cushions for added comfort. Inhale and exhale deeply. Imagine light entering your body through your third eye chakra. Allow the light to fill up your body from your feet to the top of your head. Once your body is filled with bright white light allow your aura to glow. Allow your heart chakra to glow a vibrant green light. Feel the love, protection, and relaxation. Listen to Aud Guray Nameh. I love this version by Jai Jagdeesh. Click here for the mantra. For this meditation you are just going to listen to the music, just listen. The music will heal your heart and protect you. After you finish listening to the mantra, you can slowly get up and open your eyes.
You can also do this meditation seated and imagine light going into your crown chakra and be seated while you listen to the mantra. I offer it lying down for a change of pace from the other meditations. Especially on a Friday after a long work week!
