Week 3 - 40 Day Empowerment Challenge
It is Day 21 of my Free 40 Day Empowerment Challenge! Congratulations, we are half way through the Challenge!!!

Meditation for Strength
This week a friend of mine passed. It came as a shock. So this meditation came in handy. This is a simple meditation for strength, confidence, and to fuel your inner power.
Sit comfortably in a chair or cross legged on the floor. Close your eyes. Inhale and exhale deeply. Focus on your third eye center. Inside think Sat Nam. This mean true identity or truth identified. When we say it or think it our body and soul knows the meaning and absorbs it. Think this mantra as you inhale and exhale. Inhale thinking Sat, exhale thinking Nam. Inhale Sat, exhale Nam. Repeat this over and over breathing deeply. If you want something a little more advanced inhale thinking Sat and look up. (with eyes closed) Exhale thinking Nam, looking down (with eyes closed). Do this repeatedly for several minutes. You can do this for three minutes or 6 minutes or whatever feels right. With daily practice this will give you strength, courage, and greater confidence. It is very good if you are going through grief and need to balance yourself, reconnect to yourself, and feel more empowered. This meditation connects you to your true self which is naturally balanced.
Meditation for Concentration
Sometimes our minds can go in so many different directions and we can’t focus. This is a great meditation to help us to focus.
Sit comfortably in a chair or cross legged on the floor. Close your eyes. Inhale and exhale deeply. Imagine a square a large square in front of you. You can see all four sides. In this creative visualization you are going to trace the sides of the box. First going clockwise and then going counterclockwise. Inhale and then trace the top of the square. Exhale trace the line going down the right hand side of the box. Inhale trace the line on the bottom of the square to your left. Exhale back up to the top. Continue, repeat the same direction several times. Inhale tracing the top, exhaling going down the right side, inhale going towards the left, and exhale back up to the top. After you have made a few clockwise rotations, reverse the direction and go the opposite direction tracing your square. Keep breathing deeply. After you have done that a few times, breathe in and out deeply and then slowly open up your eyes.
This meditation takes concentration and will help you with your concentration. At first you may not remember if you should be exhaling or inhaling but you will get into a rhythm. Practicing this meditation will help you to focus and concentrate and help you from feeling so distracted.

Harvest Full Moon Meditation - The full moon is a time for release and the harvest moon is a good time to take stock of your harvest. Think back six months ago, what seeds did you plant. What did you wish to start and what have you now completed? Congratulate yourself on your achievements. Anything you would like to release from your life? Heavy emotions, grudges, habits/patterns, or actual clutter? The full moon is a time to do a ritual and release it. This was also a full moon in the sign of Aries so you may have been feeling more impatient or emotional or active than for other moons. Another great reason to meditate to ground and to focus on what you would like to release so that you feel freer.
