What Were You Taught To Believe?

What Were You Taught To Believe?

They taught me to be afraid of you.

“Stand 6 feet apart.”

They taught me to be afraid of myself.

“Wear a mask. You may be contagious.”

They taught me not to trust the strength of my immune system.

“Only medication and vaccines can remedy this.”

They taught me to stay inside. “Don’t go out, unless it is necessary.”

They closed our beaches.

When natural vitamin D from the sun boosts the immune system.

They taught me to watch the news constantly: for updates and further information.

When fear weakens the immune system and spreads more fear to others.

They taught me that you cannot overcome chronic illness,

but I overcame mine.

They taught me that you cannot strengthen a weakened immune system,

but I strengthened mine

and the immune systems of my clients too.

They taught me to spy on my friends and neighbors.

No one needs privacy anymore.

But many years ago, they taught me that this is the land of the free.

They taught me to report anyone acting out of duty.

They taught us that tracking us is acceptable

and that we should agree to it.
They taught me they can put people under house arrest

for not signing a document.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty?

What happened to requiring time in court to determine sentencing?

They taught me that it is not a time for freedom.

They taught me that vaccines may be mandatory.

They taught me not to think for myself.

They taught me to bully anyone who disagrees.

They taught me to shame, blame, and criticize anyone who thinks for themselves.

Because it is not a time for thinking,

but for obedience.

They taught me anyone who thinks for themselves is a conspiracy theorist

and should be ridiculed and psychoanalyzed.

Because why would anyone want to ever question authority?

Because we must always follow the government and the media

and big corporations

because they always have our best interest at heart.

Because they would never lie to the American people.

But I believe,

It is time for leadership.

It is time to be proactive about our health.

We are not victims of a virus.

We are victims of a system that wants to control us.

Our health is our responsibility.

But we have been too busy to learn how to be healthy,

how to take care of ourselves.

We live in a body every day,

every day until we die,

and we don’t know how it works.

We don’t know how to take care of it properly.

We rely on other people, “experts”, to tell us how to take care of our own bodies.

Most of us don’t know anything about preventative health.

We believe there’s a pill for everything

once you get sick.

We are what we eat. We’ve heard that before.

So why do people eat processed food, packaged food, drink wine, smoke cigarettes, consume artificial flavors, chemicals, sugars, and colors?

Why are our grocery stores filled with food that is unhealthy for us?

And that contributes to illness?

Why are people okay with consuming preservatives?

How much is everyone exercising right now?

How much is everyone sleeping?

How many greens are you consuming?

Are you reducing the number of toxins you are exposed to?

There is so much that each of us can do

and yet it seems like everyone is blaming each other

for what they are not doing.

And for things that are not even important.

Yelling at someone if they are not 6 feet a part.

Why doesn’t everyone focus on themselves?

A strong immune system, a healthy liver, and a high vibration is the answer.

Empowerment is the answer.

Mindfulness is the answer.

Whatever you believe, think does your belief empower you

or disempower you?

Make you take action?

Or become reactionary?

They taught me that anything that disempowers me is not in alignment with me.

Do you agree?
