From Underearning To 7 Figures

Ever thought you can’t grow a successful business because…

  • You’re an introvert.

  • You hate being on camera.

  • You’re highly sensitive.

  • You’ve underearned all your life.

That was my friend Selena Soo. Prior to starting her business, she worked at a nonprofit in New York City, making $42,000/year (which is not a lot in the Big Apple, trust me!).

At night in bed, she’d watch videos on her laptop of her favorite experts, living their dream lives and running their dream businesses.

Never in a million years did she think THAT would become her reality too.

Today, Selena lives in beautiful Puerto Rico and runs a 7-figure business, while playing to her strengths. And now, she wants to share her secrets with you too!

How A Shy Introvert Grew Her Business To 13 Million in 10 Years.

My friend, Selena Soo (a 7-figure business mentor and publicity expert), just wrapped up her once-a-year virtual event — Impacting Millions LIVE.

Did you see all of my social media posts about the event? It was amazing! I loved it!!

I got a chance to ask bestselling author, Laura Belgray, how to become a best-selling author and how to launch a book that becomes a bestseller.

I got a chance to ask bestselling author, Kate Northrup, some questions based on her system of productivity with less hustle.

I won a prize which arrived to my house recently. Did you see my reel of me opening the box? Selena gifted me some high-end tea. Thank you, Selena!

I got a chance to ask senior publicity coach, Sharon Stokes, and Selena about speaking and partnering with other entrepreneurs. The answers were so fresh and actionable.

I made business connections and even started some collaborations which you will learn about soon.

If you couldn’t carve out a full three days to join us, I’ve got good news!

My friend, Selena Soo, is hosting a virtual event called Impacting Millions LIVE, happening March 5th - 7th, and you’re invited!

I had tried social media but it was taking a long time to build organically. I knew there had to be a better way to make an impact. So I enrolled in her course, Impacting Millions, and my publicity has been taking off since.

That’s right!
In fact, Selena’s first piece of publicity was a guest post in Forbes, before she even had a Website!

Since then, Selena has been featured in Forbes several more times — and she’s personally helped well over 100 entrepreneurs do the same.

And here’s the exciting news…

2024 is the year to get VISIBLE.

Publicity is the key to more good stuff (clients, revenue, time) without the stress of hustling for it.

But without a guide, getting podcasts, interviews, or media features can feel like “How do I even get started?”

Lucky for you… I’ve got a guide—a fresh copy of my friend / mentor / colleague Selena Soo’s 2024 Publicity Calendar.

I signed up for her popular digital program, Impacting Millions, a full-year of publicity training and support from Selena and her team. It was the best digital program I had ever taken and I loved it so much that I enrolled for another year. Now, she refers to me as the “media magnet.”  I’ve been in Midwifery Magazine, First for Women Magazine, Woman’s World Magazine, Impact Magazine, Motherly, Medium, Emotional Intelligence Magazine, podcasts around the world, newspapers, and radio. What We Can Learn From The Blue Zones.

The other night, I started to watch the Docu-series about centenarians who live on the Blue Zones.

I watched several episodes and saw some similarities.

What do people who live a long life of vitality have common?

They eat high-quality nutritious food.

They eat whole foods, homemade food, not food with chemicals and additives.

They are active. They make their own food. They socialize with friends and family. They walk. They do active work outside from gardening to taking care of animals to horseback riding.

They spend a lot of time outside in the fresh air, sun, and in nature.

They do activities which are fun such as dancing, singing, playing an instrument, attending parties, and playing sports with friends.

They had hobbies. Hobbies that they have done for a long time.

They laugh a lot. They don’t take life seriously.

They do not stress. They relax. They are at peace.

They go to the beach. They enjoy time in nature. They live in warm climates.

They live in beautiful places in the world.

They feel that they have a purpose throughout their lives and their purpose is not tied to money or their career.

None of them were sedentary. None of them used walkers, canes or wheelchairs.

None of them lived in nursing homes.

Their families lived close by and engaged with them often.

None of them sat in front of the computer or TV all day. It didn’t seem that any of them even watched TV.

They were in the present. They didn’t live in the past or worried about the future.

Medications didn’t help them to live longer lives. In fact, most of them didn’t have health conditions or seem to take medications. The rates of heart disease, dementia, and diabetes were much lower in the Blue Zones.

Why I Believe I Didn't Have Pain After Oral Surgery

Yesterday, I had oral surgery. I want to share with you why I believe I didn’t have any pain afterwards.

First of all, I had two oral surgeries when I was a teenager. I had many teeth extracted for braces.

Unfortunately, last time was not good.

I don’t know what medication they gave me. I was a teenager so I know I didn’t ask a lot of questions.

I was in terrible pain so don’t think I was given a local anesthetic. Just laughing gas.

I hallucinated which was very scary.

I had a seizure which was terrifying

and a near death experience.

I left my body and was floating up to the light to heaven. The most loving and peaceful place you can imagine.

This experience was a spiritual awakening for me because after that I believed in life after death.

But it was also traumatic.

So I feared going through it again to have my wisdom tooth out.

Who Is The Woman Behind The Dancing Curtain?

Recently, I had a conversation with someone who had been a client of mine many years ago. I quickly realized that she didn't understand what my focus was. She thought that I was only helping women with issues related to childbirth. This made me realize that there may be some confusion and with so many new people on my list, I thought this would be a good time to clarify who I am.

Who is the woman behind The Dancing Curtain?

I am a holistic health expert, writer, and speaker who advocates for women's health and wellness. With over 20 years as a researcher and over 18 years as a holistic health expert, I have empowered women to heal their chronic conditions, illnesses, and trauma using a holistic approach by deciphering the root cause, and treat using a mind/body/spirit approach, natural recommendations and the natural, sacred medicine of the Earth. My specialty is not only returning women to phenomenal health but to joy.

Indigenous People’s Day

Today is Indigenous People’s Day.

It wasn’t until my boyfriend in San Francisco back in 2011 called Columbus Day Indigenous People’s Day that I began to call it the same. He was the first person I had ever heard say Indigenous People’s Day and to honor Native people on this day.

And I am part Native American.

Today it actually makes me sad that people say Columbus Day and honor someone who didn’t discover America but was the beginning of land being taken away from Native people.

In grade school, I remember learning about Manifest Destiny.

It was man’s destiny to take as much land as he could the text books said.

We didn’t learn that peace between the early settlers and Native Americans was not true.

Heal Yourself Through Food

I have another educational talk coming up soon! I am a featured speaker at the Natural & Spiritual Healing Summit. A virtual summit that starts next week.

I am so excited!

I will be speaking on October 12 at 11 AM ET. My talk is Healing Yourself Through Food: Learn To Use Food As Medicine.

I have been a holistic healer/health expert for over 17 years.

I will talk about how potent food can be as medicine.

I believe it is important to get to the root cause of a chronic illness or chronic condition and once that has been identified the right food can heal us naturally.

I will share my health journey: how I healed myself naturally from my 15 year illness through food, how food was the answer to overcome my illness, how food is often an overlooked aide to wellness, and how I help my clients to heal naturally too.

Food is medicine. Food can contribute to illness or to wellness. We must choose wisely.

Use food to be your greatest ally to help prevent illness, sustain wellness, and to overcome your chronic conditions naturally.

Save the date!

Looking Back On My 15-Year Illness

When I was sick with my chronic illness for 15 years, doctors tried to give me medication after medication.

They treated the individual symptoms, not the root cause.

Or

They didn’t treat me at all.

They believed I was just depressed

or

a hypochondriac.

They didn’t know that by offering me more medication they were making me sicker.

People didn’t think I looked sick.

They only believed the doctors

and

my doctors didn’t do the right tests

so they said I was fine.

I have a hard time looking back at pictures of when I was sick, even if it was a happier occasion, like these pics of me on vacation.

I see how sick I was.

Too Tired To Smile

When I was sick with my 15-year illness, I was not the same person I am today.

Today, I smile easily and often.

The little things make me so happy.

I am so grateful for EVERYTHING.

But when I was sick with my chronic illness, I was too sick to smile or laugh.

They say that it takes more muscles to smile than it does to frown.

It’s true. It takes a lot less energy to be emotional-less.

Why Infertility Is Rising

Last week, I offered a free Masterclass on why infertility is rising around the world.

As many of you know, for the last several years I have been writing a three book series about childbirth around the world through a holistic perspective.

It’s probably no surprise that through my in-depth interviews and research, I learned that miscarriage is more common than I thought. Many women who I interviewed had miscarried or had trouble conceiving and many did not know how common it is today in the US and around the world.

Miscarriage didn’t use to be so common.

Infertility is rising.

It’s time to take a look at why this is happening so that it can be remedied.

Watch my Masterclass.

It is 40 minutes and will bring you insights that are not being discussed.

A Glimpse Into My Past

Many people love to look at old pictures when they were younger,

“The good old days…”

But I don’t like to look at pictures of myself when I was sick with my 15-year illness.

At the time, I may have been able to hide that I was sick from others who didn’t know me.

I had a lot of shame for being sick for so long.

Some of my friends on social media may never have known me when I was sick.

They may have never seen me sick.

They may think that I have always been so happy, healthy, and vibrant.

I look at this picture and I don’t recognize myself.

Healers Are Not Scary

Recently, I had a discovery call with a woman. She had found me from Googling. She was looking for someone to help her with trauma and she wanted to work with someone in Connecticut because she was moving to Connecticut.

But somehow, even though, she had found me from a search she didn’t know I was a healer and a medium.

Once I told her that I was a healer and a medium and described the work that I did she became so fearful.

I am an empath so I could feel her fear towards me. It was the oddest feeling. I am the type of person people tell me everything, the type of person strangers open up to upon meeting, the type of person people say they feel joyful just to be around. And yet, a woman who needed my help was fearful of my titles. We had a nice rapport but once I said I was not a coach but a healer, she froze. In a timid voice, she asked how I became a medium.

“I thought you were a coach,” she said.

“I do offer recommended action steps like a coach,” I said, “but I do much more. I wear many hats. My sessions are deep.”
